Horizontal Bobbin Windower Project

This project was developed at college with the goal of deepening the knowledge in drive system dimensioning and manufacturing methods. Calculations were performed to determine the coil radius and diameters, the required motor power, and the transmission ratios. In addition, the mechanical components such as shafts, couplings, and bearings were dimensioned, always following technical standards (like DIN 7168) and consulting manufacturers’ catalogs.
