helical gear drive pinion

This project was launched following recurring mechanical failures on an industrial machine, reported by the client's maintenance department. After a technical root cause analysis, I led the redesign of the helical gear teeth and the selection of high-performance materials to enhance mechanical strength and extend the component’s service life. The project scope included 3D modeling, mechanical analysis, and a complete design overhaul using SolidWorks. The final solution successfully eliminated the breakage issues and significantly increased the machine's overall reliability.
