Generative Design for a bracket in aviation

This is an example of using Fusion 360 Generative Design application to improve the design of a bracket used in an aircraft. The initial design has a weight of 560g and is made out of Titanium. First the forces on the bracket must be identified. Next, the input model for the generative design is produced. The outcome of the generative design algorithm gives you several possible options. The First and last picture show one of the possible outcomes. The weight has been reduced to from 560g to 145 (a 75% reduction!)
