Project Title: Modern G+1 Multi-Family Residential Complex with Sustainable Features Software Suite: Modeling: SketchUp Rendering Engine: V-Ray 6 Structural Oversight: Designed with load-bearing and reinforced concrete (RC) framing principles. Project Overview: This project features a contemporary G+1 residential design, blending modern architectural aesthetics with sustainable engineering solutions. The design prioritizes natural light, vertical space optimization, and renewable energy integration, making it ideal for high-density urban environments like Kigali. Key Technical Features: Sustainable Energy Integration: Modeled a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) array, demonstrating a "Green Building" approach to reduce long-term energy costs for residents. Structural Layering: The design features cantilevered balconies and a tiered facade, which were modeled to ensure structural feasibility and efficient load distribution. Exterior Materiality & Finishes: High-definition rendering of diverse textures, including stone-clad perimeter walls, sleek aluminum louvers for sun shading, and tempered glass railings. Site Planning & Landscape: Integrated green zones and functional drainage within the plot boundary, ensuring the building is not just a model, but a site-ready project compliant with modern urban planning standards. The Engineering Advantage: Unlike standard architectural renders, this project was developed with a "Build-First" mindset. The dimensions, column placements, and material choices reflect real-world civil engineering constraints, ensuring that the transition from 3D model to construction site is seamless and cost-effective.
