FRC Climbing Mechanism Drive System - Design, Fabrication & Testing
Designed and built the drive system for an FRC competition robot climbing mechanism, taking the design from concept through CAD, analysis, CNC machining, assembly, and testing. The system integrates a Kraken X60 motor, belt-driven pulley, custom bearing block, steel Z-rod actuator, and structural components. I focused on compact packaging, alignment, strength, and manufacturability while iterating designs based on physical testing.
