Flat Belt Grinding Machine for Serial Parts, Bars & Deburring

Mechanical design of an industrial flat belt grinding machine developed for repetitive deburring and surface finishing of serial-production parts, flat bars and similar components that require a controlled, uniform finish. The machine was conceived as a safer and more consistent alternative to manual grinding, allowing parts to be supported and finished against a defined abrasive working area while improving repeatability between operators and production batches. The project included the complete SolidWorks 3D assembly, machine structure, abrasive-belt drive and tensioning system, flat working support, adjustment mechanisms, guards, access panels and operator controls. Particular attention was given to rigidity, stable abrasive contact, ease of setup, quick belt replacement, maintenance access and operator protection. The result is a compact production-oriented machine designed for continuous industrial use where consistent deburring, edge cleanup and flat surface finishing are required.
