# Enginee 3D Design – Mechanical Engineering Approach
## Overview
As a mechanical engineer, I developed a complete 3D and 2D CAD model of an **Exhaust Manifold** used in internal combustion engines. This component plays a vital role in directing exhaust gases efficiently from the engine cylinders to the exhaust pipe.
## Engineering Objectives
*The goal* was to ensure manufacturability, structural integrity, and _thermal efficiency_ while maintaining space constraints within the engine bay.
**Design precision** and __clear documentation__ were key throughout the modeling process.
## Key Engineering Tasks
- Analyze engine layout and define cylinder outlet positions
- Design optimal runner paths for exhaust flow balance
- Model in 3D using Autodesk Inventor or Fusion 360
- Generate fully annotated 2D technical drawings
- Include necessary tolerances, sections, and material specs
## Outputs
- Parametric 3D CAD model (STEP, IPT/F3D)
- Fabrication-ready 2D drawings (DWG, PDF)
- Engineering notes and material callouts
