This design is an EEG system that uses a PIC184550 as the controller. The electrodes amplifiers (round boards) are connected through a headset to an ADS1299 A/D system on chip, designed specifically for capturing EEG data. The EEG data is sent to an Android phone or tablet via a BLE connection where the signal processing is done. It is a battery powered system with charging and monitoring,
The user wears a pair of controllable light blocking glasses that make their view lighter or darker based on interpretation of the EEG data from the smartphone side.
It is a battery powered system with USB charging and battery monitoring.
I also wrote the firmware for the PCB using MPLAB in assembly language.
