Drive-thru Bank Branch

The present project (Drive-thru bank branch) is designed with the request of efficiency, and a contactless service to support the banking services. The goal is to develop a new drive-way system using technology, art, and architecture. We want to break the traditional customer service style, where everything happens in an enclosed environment and as the world tries to readjust to a world of social distancing, it is important to look at ways to do everyday things safely. While considering the driver’s view and car speed; the design must be highly visible and easy to access. This project shows movement by using broken concrete building skin and illustrates transparency by creating visually striking facades and dynamic relationships between their exterior and interior. They filter light and frame views through their glazing and opening articulation to craft memorable architectural experiences.
