double Box clasp

This clasp model is based on a double-tongue box clasp mechanism, also known as a double-tab tube clasp. The design ensures enhanced security and reliability, particularly suited for high-value or heavy jewelry pieces such as bracelets or necklaces. The closing mechanism operates with two independent tongues (tabs). Each tongue is folded to form a tapered wedge shape that compresses slightly when inserted into the receiving box (tube). Once fully inserted, the spring tension causes the tongues to expand back into their original shape, locking securely inside the clasp housing. This dual-tab system provides double the security compared to standard single-tongue clasps, significantly reducing the risk of accidental opening. The clasp is engineered for: Smooth insertion and secure locking Durability through repeated use Ease of release with light pressure on both tabs All dimensions and tolerances are as shown in the technical drawing (refer to the attached image). This clasp can be custom-designed to fit various jewelry styles, materials (gold, silver, etc.), and sizes, depending on the specific project requirements.
