Digital Twin Projects for Autonomous Electric Vehicles

Project 1: Autonomous Electric Forklift for Smart Warehouses Tools used: NX Siemens, AMESIM This project involved the development of a conceptual and digital model of an autonomous electric forklift designed for use in automated warehouse environments. I created the initial design concept based on client requirements, which included integration of LiDAR sensors for navigation and obstacle detection. Using AMESIM, I developed a detailed digital twin of the forklift and simulated its behavior within a virtual warehouse environment. The warehouse layout was digitally recreated, and a predefined route was set to demonstrate autonomous navigation capabilities and route planning. Project 2: Electric Baggage Tow Tractor for Airports Tools used: NX Siemens, AMESIM This project focused on the creation of a digital model of an electric tow tractor used for transporting baggage across airport grounds. The tractor is fully electric and operates exclusively within airport perimeters. In AMESIM, I built a simulation model incorporating an airport map to replicate realistic operating conditions. The model showcases route tracking from the terminal to aircraft parking zones, demonstrating both energy efficiency and functional performance in airport logistics.
