Design Work for CRI

Quori is a low-cost robotic platform designed for Human-Robot Interaction Research. The design features were decided by a quorum of such researchers, hence the name Quori. The gender-neutral design is comprised of an emotive torso, a rear projection head, and two gesturing arms on a holonomic base. I designed the transmission for the shoulder joint, and contributed to the design of and created the models for the torso and spine hardware. I also designed the spine damping system to use the back emf of a dc motor and created a few alternative versions of the shoulder joint.
