DESIGN OF INLINE RECIPROCATING OIL FREE AIR COMPRESSOR

Design of oil-free air inline reciprocating compressor. By use of an opposite balanced piston-cylinder arrangement system in the compressor design. The main difference between them is in how the cylinders are arranged. V engines are not as efficient as the same size inline. Inline engines have the cylinders in a straight line while a V engine has the cylinders grouped into two and arranged in a V at a certain angle; the arrangement leading to the name of the engine configuration. Where they need small quantities of oil-free air to work with their sophisticated equipment like dental chairs and laboratory equipment. Designed for light-duty applications, these compressors are of dry-sump design ensuring compressed air delivery without oil contamination
