DESIGN OF INLINE RECIPROCATING OIL FREE AIR COMPRESSOR

Design of oil free air inline reciprocating compressor. By use of an opposite balanced piston cylinder arrangement system in the compressor design. The main difference between them is in how the cylinders are arranged. V engines are not as efficient as the same size inline. Inline engines have the cylinders in a straight line while a V engine has the cylinders grouped into two and arranged in a V at a certain angle; the arrangement leading to the name of the engine configuration. Where they need small quantities of oil-free air to work with their sophisticated equipment like dental chairs and laboratory equipment. Designed for light duty applications, these compressors are of dry sump design ensuring compressed air delivery without oil contamination
