Custom Camera Enclosure
A custom electronic-device enclosure designed around an Intel RealSense D455 depth camera, a LattePanda single-board computer, and a dedicated power bank.
The enclosure was developed from initial hand sketches, dimensional references, component datasheets, and existing electronic-component models. The internal arrangement was planned to accommodate the camera, processing board, power source, mounting points, and required cable routing within a compact housing.
The external casing features a smooth product-style form, a precisely positioned front camera opening, integrated branding, rear mounting features, and access openings for device connections. Separate front and rear components were modeled and assembled in SolidWorks, with STEP files prepared for design review and prototype production.
This project demonstrates component packaging, electronics-enclosure design, CAD assembly development, and conversion of an early concept into a complete 3D product design.
Software: SolidWorks
Deliverables: SLDPRT, SLDASM, STEP, DXF, 3D PDF, and rendered images
