Containerized Industrial Equipment Layout Optimization
Equipment-layout and packaging optimization for an industrial processing system designed for transportation inside a containerized configuration.
The project involved arranging multiple machines, frames, utilities, and ancillary components within a highly constrained space while considering loading, unloading, accessibility, and installation requirements.
By reorganizing the equipment arrangement and loading sequence, the loading operation was reduced from approximately 6 hours to 2 hours.
The complete arrangement was developed as a coordinated 3D assembly to verify equipment fit, interfaces, accessibility, and transportation constraints before fabrication and shipment.
