Clevis Bracket & DfM Optimization

This project is more than just a 3D model; it is a fully integrated Clevis Bracket assembly engineered with a Design for Manufacturing (DfM) mindset. The primary focus was on precision fits and mechanical functionality, ensuring a seamless transition from the digital screen to the production line. Technical Excellence & Engineering Highlights Robust 3D Modeling: Developed using advanced Solid Modeling techniques to ensure surface integrity and mass property accuracy, while incorporating critical Draft Angles and complex cylindrical bores. Drafting Excellence (2D Documentation): As shown in the exhibits, I produced industry-standard 2D drawings featuring: Geometric Dimensioning: Strategic placement of dimensions to streamline the technician’s workflow on the shop floor. Internal Detail Visualization: Comprehensive clarity of internal cavities and hidden features through precise Hidden Line management. Symmetry & Centerline Precision: Exact alignment of axes to guarantee accuracy during drilling and high-speed Machining operations. Production Readiness: The design is fully optimized for CNC Machining or 3D Printing, with geometries that respect subsequent Slicing and G-code generation requirements. Added Value for the Client Risk Mitigation: I ensure zero Interference within the assembly, preventing costly manufacturing errors before any budget is spent on production.
