Designed a checking fixture for a large automotive fuel tank assembly to verify dimensional accuracy and assembly quality during the inspection process. Independently handled the project from concept development through detailed engineering design, including locating and clamping systems, tolerance analysis, 3D modeling, and manufacturing drawings. The fixture was developed to ensure reliable measurement results, improve inspection efficiency, and maintain product quality standards.
