Car Side Mirror Housing – Surface Modeling (Rhino 8)

A car side-mirror housing and stem, modelled to practise production-style surfacing. Approach: - Built a clean curve structure first, checking each curve with curvature combs - Constructed the housing from a small number of controlled patches rather than heavy fillets - Focused on the stem-to-housing transition, the hardest blend on the part - Verified highlight continuity across the main transitions with zebra analysis Result: smooth, continuous highlight flow across the housing, ready for further engineering (split lines, mounting, tooling draft).
