Biomass Combustion System Design
This project presents the complete design and development of a Pulverized Biomass Combustion System, created entirely in Autodesk Inventor, from individual part modeling to full assembly and photorealistic rendering. The system is designed to demonstrate an integrated biomass fuel handling and combustion process suitable for industrial thermal applications.
The design consists of multiple interconnected subsystems, including a fuel storage hopper, belt conveyor, pulverizer, screw feeder, centrifugal blower, combustion air piping, burner assembly, and structural support frame. Each component was modeled and assembled to represent a realistic industrial process flow while considering manufacturability, mechanical integration, maintenance accessibility, and overall system functionality.
The objective of this project was not only to create an accurate 3D model but also to simulate the engineering workflow involved in developing industrial combustion equipment. Special attention was given to component arrangement, material transportation, airflow distribution, mechanical power transmission, and equipment layout to produce a coherent and practical machine design.
