Bamboo Desk

Client asked for a desk to be buit using bamboo (counter top) slab as the primary sheet stock. The desk needed to fit into a specific space and also needed to be mirrored for a second desk placed opposite. Constraints were that the construction needed to be arranged to eliminate failure modes caused by poor fastener retention by the endgrain of the laminated bamboo slab.
