Automotive Rear Wing (Spoiler) | Surface Modeling

This automotive rear wing was designed to demonstrate advanced surface modeling techniques in SolidWorks. The project emphasizes smooth aerodynamic geometry while maintaining structural simplicity suitable for conceptual automotive design. The aerodynamic profile was primarily created using Surface Sweep, allowing continuous curvature along the span of the wing. The side plates and mounting brackets were modeled with parametric extrusions before applying fillets to improve geometric continuity. The workflow combines surface and solid modeling techniques, illustrating efficient feature organization and design intent preservation. Surface modeling is essential for automotive, aerospace, and consumer product development. I create CAD models that balance aesthetics with engineering logic, ensuring they remain editable for future optimization, CFD preparation, or manufacturing adaptation.
