Automated Irrigation System for Indoor Farming R&D Facility
Commissioned by a commercial partner (undisclosed under NDA) to solve an operational challenge by designing and implementing a custom automated irrigation system for an experimental indoor farming facility.
Scope of Work & Key Deliverables:
R&D & Concept Testing: Engineered, tested, and validated novel irrigation concepts tailored specifically for Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA).
3D CAD Modeling: Developed the complete 3D CAD model for the irrigation layout, manifold structures, and hydraulic component placement.
Full On-Site Installation: Managed and executed the physical assembly and hardware setup at the experimental station.
Commissioning & Performance Monitoring: Supervised system startup and monitored initial operation cycles to ensure flow consistency, automation reliability, and peak system performance.
Confidentiality Note:
To respect non-disclosure agreements (NDA), the client's identity and proprietary operational metrics are withheld. Only generalized 3D CAD models and system concepts are displayed.
Project Takeaway:
A highly successful end-to-end R&D project that turned innovative hydraulic concepts into a fully functioning, real-world automated irrigation system.
