Automated Centerless Finishing Line for Brass Tubes

Complete mechanical design of an automated centerless finishing line developed for brass tubes from approximately Ø8 to Ø50 mm and up to 1,200 mm long. The system was designed for consistent surface finishing, repeatable production and controlled part handling, integrating infeed and outfeed conveyors, automatic tube centering, abrasive-belt finishing, adjustable traction and motorized conveyor height adjustment. The project also included machine enclosure, safety features, fluid recirculation, HMI integration and manufacturing-oriented detailing. The complete equipment was developed in SolidWorks with focus on robustness, adjustability, operator safety, maintenance access and reliable continuous industrial operation.
