App-Controlled Singing Bowl Machine

I developed a complete automated singing bowl machine designed for relaxation, meditation, yoga and wellness applications. The project covered the full product development process, including mechanical design, electronics, control programming, mobile app integration and production of a functional prototype. The machine can generate sound in two different ways. Mechanical mallets can strike the bowl with adjustable timing, rhythm and intensity, while the bowl can also rotate as a mallet is pressed against its rim to create the continuous resonant sound traditionally known as “singing.” Through the mobile app, users can remotely control the machine, adjust the operating settings and program customized sound sequences for different meditation, yoga or relaxation sessions. My work included concept development, CAD modelling, mechanism design, motor and component selection, electronics integration, prototype manufacturing, assembly, programming, testing and design refinement. The final prototype combines the traditional sound and experience of a singing bowl with modern automation and programmable control.
