ABC Coffee — Custom Metal Counter Structure

Engineering development of a custom decorative metal structure for the central bar area of an ABC Coffee location in Saint Petersburg. The structure was designed to enclose an existing concrete column while creating a seamless monolithic appearance with a circular opening, following the interior designer’s concept. Coffee shop in St. Petersburg.pdf The internal frame was developed from 19 mm MDF as two modular sections assembled around the existing column. The components use tongue-and-groove connections designed for accurate CNC manufacturing and straightforward assembly. The finished structure was clad with 2 mm metal panels prepared for laser cutting and bending. The panel joints and cover plates were developed to conceal the assembly seams and create the appearance of a single continuous metal surface. The project covered the transition from the designer’s visual concept to a manufacturable construction, including 3D CAD development, CNC-oriented detailing, assembly logic and coordination of the metal cladding.
