This project showcases a custom-designed 3D-printable PLC cover developed to protect programmable logic controllers from dust, accidental contact, and minor mechanical damage while maintaining proper ventilation and accessibility. The model is optimized for FDM 3D printing, featuring uniform wall thickness, filleted edges, and print-friendly tolerances. Designed using SolidWorks the cover supports easy mounting, cable clearance, and snap-fit or fastener-based assembly depending on application needs. Suitable for industrial panels, control cabinets, and automation systems, the design can be customized for different PLC sizes, materials, and environmental requirements.
