3D Antenna Radiation Pattern Measurement (2.4 GHz EIRP)

Capability: In-house antenna characterization for wireless products, using a turntable-based 3D antenna radiation measurement system. Method: The working prototype is measured in its final enclosure. EIRP is captured in the three principal planes (YZ, ZX and XY) for horizontal and vertical polarization, then combined into a full 3D pattern with total radiated power (TRP) and directivity. Why it matters: Custom PCB antennas are designed and simulated first, then tuned on the real prototype. Measuring the pattern shows nulls, detuning from the enclosure, battery and ground plane, and the real link margin before the product goes to certification testing. Example shown: 2450 MHz measurement of a 2.4 GHz wireless product, total radiated power -6.2 dBm.
