29. Elastomeric O-Ring & Hydraulic Retaining Seal
Elastomeric O-rings and retaining seals, the foundational boundary components necessary for fluid containment in high-pressure hydraulic suspension systems.
+ In a shock absorber, O-rings are placed around the seal head (cartridge cap) and the internal floating piston (IFP). They physically block the high-pressure damper oil from leaking out into the environment, and they keep the pressurized nitrogen gas completely separated from the oil.
