2-Axis Reconfigurable Machine Tool - MOMA

Plane Reconfigurable Parallel Mechanism MOMA is a mechanism with 2 degrees of freedom. The Mechanism is assembled out of 2 identical propulsion axes on which two sliders move. Using two couplers the sliders are connected in a parallel mechanism. Couplers and sliders are connected to each other with swivel joints. A two-axis reconfigurable parallel mechanism is configured according to a building program that has a total of 33 different configurations of a two-axle machine.
