The Cad Crowd community is always growing! With well over 13,000 members now, the Cad Crowd 3D model library is overflowing with awesome CAD design projects like never before! Let’s take a look at some of the more recent ones.

1. Collection Table Engineering Design by Michael Dimou

This project is a good demonstration of how even something pretty mundane — like this bottle collection apparatus — can become an aesthetically pleasing piece of artwork! Industrial projects are a big part of what we do at Cad Crowd, and this design piece is a fine example.

2. Concept Car Automotive Design by mastery193

This project shows off a bit of a different aspect of CAD design. More important than the realism of the rendering here is the creativity of the design itself. Here’s a glimpse of what we might be seeing on the roads in the fast-approaching future. It’s got a bit of a tron-ish vibe to it. Maybe the thing will even drive itself!

3. Hotel Room Architectural Design by Mariell

You may have heard the complaint that hotel rooms haven’t really changed much over the past half-century. And that’s probably true — but what is there to change? It’s a room with a bed and a desk! Well, here’s a fine example of how to differentiate within the narrow limits of a hotel room. Bright, airy, light — it’s a nice hotel room!

You should definitely hit that link up there and take a look at the page for this awesome projects: there are some downright hypnotizing animations of some really out-there mechanisms. For this page, though, we thought we’d share this image of the incredible design. A truly beautiful piece of machinery, it’s easy to forget looking at it that it is not a work of art, but a functional mechanical design.

5. Race Car 3D Modeling Design by FHER

We get a lot of car designs on Cad Crowd. There’s just something about CAD designers and vehicles… Maybe it’s the combination of engineering and aesthetics, which is also, of course, characteristic of CAD design itself. Anyhow, we see lots of cars here. This one is a pretty rugged looking design for a minimalist, stripped down racer. Pretty Mad Max.

6. Sheet Metal Motorcycle Tube Engineering Design by Viktor Sipaev

Speaking of vehicles, here’s a pretty cool thing. A custom-designed pipe form for motorcycles! It’s amazing what you can make with sheet metal! The color finishing is a nice touch that adds a bit of flair. Whether to go with the colored version or the raw would probably depend on the look of the bike in question.
