CAD Design & 3D Modeling Showcase

We’ve got quite the community of CAD designers and 3D modelers here at Cad Crowd. They’re always at work on projects from a wide variety of industries, for clients here on Cad Crowd or elsewhere. The Cad Crowd 3D model library is practically overflowing! From time to time, we take the opportunity to showcase some of the awesome designs that have been uploaded to our members’ portfolios. Now is one of those time!

1. Pump System 3D Modeling Design by Raj Gilda

This impressive piece was completed with SolidWorks Router. I can’t pretend to know what this pump is for, exactly, but it sure is an impressive piece of 3D modeling.

2. Manufacturing Line of Medical Tubes CAD Drafting & Design by _Paul_

Medical device design might not be the most glamorous field of CAD design, but hey! This stuff is important. It’s also a huge industry, and developments in manufacturing technology and materials science (not to mention the IoT) is really shaking up the healthcare sector.

3. Lavra Belltower Miniature 3D Modeling Design by rapidproto

This miniature tower was designed for a toy railroad in Kiev. At 35cm tall, it’s a pretty big miniature! Miniature railroads have been a popular hobby for a long time. Home 3D printing opens up a whole new world of teeny tiny potential for miniature hobbyists who can print (and even design!) miniature from their own regular-sized homes.

4. Carriage House Architectural Design by Jim81

Back in the day, a carriage house was literally a building where you put your carriage. These days, people don’t so much have carriages. Instead, carriage houses are usually used as guest accommodation or workshops or other similar applications. This carriage house is actually a converted barn. Gorgeous!

5. Autonomous Electric Concept Product Design by mastery193

Here’s a sleek concept for an autonomous vehicle. Usually, when we think of self-piloting, riderless vehicles, we think of little helicopters. Well, this concept is a bit different. The thing looks pretty fast, though it doesn’t have much room for storage or passengers. Sure wouldn’t want this thing to be chasing you, though.

6. Apartment Y Interior Design by Ruslana.Muratova

This image is just one of many from a design for an entire apartment. it’s dark but warm, minimalist, sophisticated, and elegant. Maybe not exactly the aesthetic for everyone, but it’s certainly got a classiness to it that anyone can appreciate. Check out the page linked above to see the other rooms!
