Hello, my name is Osama Mohamed, and I am a mechanical design engineer with extensive experience in the field. I am currently working full-time as a Product Development Engineer at an Automotive OEM company.
I specialize in CAE and have expertise in using SolidWorks, Siemens PLM, and ANSYS software. For CFD, FEA, FSI, Transient Structural, and Rigid Dynamics simulations, I use ANSYS and SimCenter tools. Additionally, I am proficient in using MATLAB and Amesim for model-based simulations, and I have excellent skills in using KeyShot for rendering.
I have worked on numerous projects, some of which were presented as part of a design report. While this profile is relatively new, you can find samples of my work on this page to get a simple idea of my capabilities.

  • R&D Mechanical Project Engineer Royal El-Minya Cement Company · Full-time Dec 2022 – Present 1 yrs 5 mos Cairo, Cairo Governorate, Egypt Royal Cement is part of SESCO Group an international group with a USD 1.8 billion turnover, spanning cement production, trading, logistics, construction, and more worldwide, As an R&D Mechanical Project Engineer I was Responsible for Detailing design and analysis of the Cement production lines equipment such as preheaters, Kiln, ID Fans, and Filters also working on detailing CFD and FEA analysis of the new ZnO Plant Equipment’s one of my challenging tasks in this project was to conduct a detailed CFD analysis for the product and return GDC’s to put our hands on the actual effectiveness and the best alignment of the GDC’s to get the best separation efficiency. Also, I have conducted a lot of detailed designs based on FEA analyses for surface cooler hoppers with GD&T and drafting.

One of my contracts was to completely develop a gasoline engine that works with the principles of the HEHC thermal Cycle.

I’m one of the first Egyptian EV R&D Teams. My recent achievement is the complete design, simulation, and validation of a new HEHC Thermal Cycle for a new type of Range Extender for PHEVs working with CNG Fuel.

My total Grade is Very Good (GPA of 3.3). My Graduation Project grade is Excellent and it was about an Experimental study for enhancement in the heat transfer coefficient of jet impingement cooling with a moving nozzle. I was the team leader and I was in charge of designing the test rig, Embedded system, and control software.
