Mechanical Design Engineer with over 2 years of experience in developing plastic products (mainly wheel speed sensors) in both 3D and 2D, whithin an international renowned corporation; and in my free time, for the last 10 years, I have been designing metal & wood structures (e.g fences, interior/exterior stairs, event halls, balconies, furniture, etc).

To develop my skills i always look for interesting, challenging projects. I am not the most experience person but I always try to give the best results and quality.

  • Mechanical Design Engineer Bosch Automotive · Full-time Oct 2015 – Apr 2019 3 yrs 6 mos Blaj, AB, Romania As a Mechanical Design Engineer, my responsibilities were:

    • Creation and optimization of new wheel-speed-sensor geometry adapted to customer requirements, production costs and injection mold suitability
    • Testing and optimizing the wheel-speed-sensor geometry using tools such as MoldFlow analysis, finite element analysis and FMEA
    • Creation of customer drawings and production drawings, bill of materias for assemblies and components of the wheel speed sensors
    • Implementation of customer drawings, production drawings and parts lists in the SAP database
    • Research and development for alternative fixation systems for wheel speed sensors
    • Production support with documentation, immediate modifications for production drawings or wheel-speed-sensor geometry
    • Testing department support with creation of new fixing systems and wheel-speed-sensors documentation

    As an Engineering Working Student, my responsibilities were:

    • Testing of wheel-speed-sensor for leaks, injection molding defects, material aging, perfect functioning of the integrated circuit, according to specifications
    • Documentation of the test results and creation of presentations for upper management
    • Creation of documentation for new employees with a focus on factory production lines (manual line, semi-automatic line) and detailed production process steps
    • Creation of new device systems for sensor tests with CAD software
