It started in 2021 when I discovered my love for business and engineering. In 2019, I started my career by teaching myself AutoCAD after my father-in-law introduced me to drafting. During that time, he taught me more AutoCAD commands and allowed me to take on small drafting tasks that would be part of his projects. In 2021, I completed my Associate of Occupational Studies in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design: Architectural. I also obtained my AutoCAD certification through Autodesk Inc. After that, I became my father-in-law's draftsman and took on more significant projects with a full scope of work, such as producing structural steel detail plans and revising pipe schematic plans. In 2022, while working for my father-in-law, I worked remotely for other engineering firms on a per-project-contract basis, starting my freelance career.
