Graduating from the Indiana Institute of Technology accredited Mechanical Engineering program in 2018, I interned at an automotive parts manufacturer while completing my degree. Soon after graduation, I worked at a different automotive parts manufacturer creating fixturing and jigs for robotic welding and metal stamping and forming processes as well as automated industrial and assembly lines. This included creating drawings after the design was finalized, selecting appropriate material for components, assembling new hardware, and troubleshooting as well as continual design improvement.

  • Engineer Steel Tank and Fabricating · Full-time Dec 2020 – Present 1 yrs 8 mos Columbia City, IN, United States In charge of desiging varrious atmospheric geometrical storage tanks for a wide varriatey of applications including gasoline, desiel, asphault, and chemical storage. Following a design standard for certified tanks under the UL-142 certifications as well as mltiple STI/SPFA certifications including FIREGUARD and FLAMESHIELD tanks. Storage tanks could range from 300 gallons and 3 feet in diameter to 40,000 gallons and 12 feet in diameter. Also purchasing upwards of $500,000 if equipment, componets, and materials each year.
  • Mechanical Engineer CJ Automotive · Full-time Jun 2018 – Dec 2020 2 yrs 6 mos Butler, IN, United States Worked to create welding fixtures and jigs for multiple welding applications. Helped refine existing designs and improve fixture ergonomics for easy use by production workers and streamline steps to speed up assembly rate.

    Worked to improve existing assembly lines via time studies, assembly line equipment improvement, and process changes. Also, implement new assembly lines for new projects that required the purchase of new capital equipment.

    Limited Robotic programming and PLC experience for troubleshooting assembly and weld cell processes.
