I have been working in this field (design for manufacturability) for over 4 years. I have a technical knowledge in mechanical design gained from higher education as well as experience. Currently I'm using Fusion 360 to create mechanical models, FEA, engineering drawing as well as generating g-code for CNC manufacturing. I also have knowledge in proper material selection for the parts based on the function, environment, cost, adaptability as well as service life of the part. My experience is mostly focused on the design of mechanical parts, mechanical analysis (FEA, material selection) and manufacturing (Machining, additive manufacturing). I am a mechanical engineer with over 15 years experience in new product design and development. Raised on a ranch in MT, I commonly found myself in the position of problem solving through large scale mechanical problems that were common with the machinery we worked with. This experience rooted the logical thought process and instilled the mechanical intuition I carry today.
