Find Top-Tier Steel Fabrication Freelancers

Steel fabrication is the process of creating steel structures or components through cutting, bending, welding, bolting, and other techniques. It’s used mainly in the manufacturing and engineering industries to make steel parts, as well as in the construction industry to create structural frames for houses and buildings.

It’s important to note that steel fabrication is not just about manufacturing steel pieces and putting them together. Rather, it starts with the process of designing a component or an assembly that can withstand wear and tear and last for a long time. This is where our steel fabrication freelancers come in.

Here at Cad Crowd, we have a large network of designers who have skills and knowledge in steel design. Simply tell them your ideas and requirements, and they’ll come up with a design for a durable and long-lasting component or assembly. Our freelancers are experts in many types of CAD software, and they’ll use these programs to run their designs through various tests and ensure the end product won’t easily break down when exposed to vibration, strong winds, and other forces. As a result, you’ll have a steel structure or component that’s proven and tested to perform well in the real world — even before you’ve started to manufacture it.

Once you approve the design, our freelance steel fabrication experts will prepare detailed drawings for your manufacturer or machinist. If you’re using CNC machines to manufacture your products, our designers will utilize computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs to create digital commands for your CNC machines to follow.

If you’re still looking for a manufacturer, don’t worry since we can help. We have developed good relationships with some of the best manufacturers in the country and can help you find the best option in your area. Whether you want to make some prototypes of your product or decide to proceed to large-volume production, you have the assurance that our manufacturing partners can assist you.

With our comprehensive steel fabrication services, Cad Crowd is essentially a one-stop shop for engineers and architects who are working on large projects as well as individual inventors who are experimenting with several ideas. As you know my name is Greg Sheldon. But what you don't know is that I have a knack for efficiency and a passion for 3D Cad design using Solidworks. Plus! I work in the commercial and industrial markets doing real world design, of real working parts and assemblies every single day. With that said, it indicates I am capable of seeing potential problems before they arise. And I certainly don't have any problem discussing these issues with my clients and/or you. This is simply because its always better to catch the problem in design than having to recall a product down the road, which will ultimately cost everyone a bunch of money... So that's just barely scratching the surface about me, and I look forward to any future endeavor with you. Oh and I am a Canadian resident just outside Toronto Ontario, and speak excellent english.
