🏗️ ArchiCAD Drafter Wanted for Paid Test (Ongoing Work Available)

We’re hiring a detail-oriented ArchiCAD drafter for ongoing support with residential design projects, starting with a paid test.
Canadian architectural design firm specializing in custom homes, renovations, and multi-family developments. We are looking for a drafter with excellent modeling, annotation, and documentation skills in ArchiCAD 27 or higher.
🔧 About the Test Task (Paid – 4 to 6 hours)

This is a paid trial to evaluate your ability to follow standards and produce quality documentation using our ArchiCAD template.
You will receive:

A sample floor plan (PDF)

A roof sketch (image)

Our ArchiCAD template (.TPL) — to be used without modification

Graphic references for pen styles and layout expectations

Your task:

Using ArchiCAD and our template:

Model the layout from the provided floor plan

Annotate clearly with dimensions, labels, room names, and levels

Create a door & window schedule using ArchiCAD's built-in scheduling tool

Export:

Floor Plan (PDF)

Roof Plan (PDF)

Door & Window Schedule (PDF)

One section cut (PDF)

One Exterior Elevation (PDF)

Submit your ArchiCAD .PLA file

💰 Compensation:

Fixed rate: $60 CAD. If successful on this test, we will offer hourly or per-project roles starting at $22–$28 CAD/hour depending on speed and quality.

Expected time: 4 to 6 hours

Ongoing paid projects (hourly or flat rate) offered to successful candidates

✅ Requirements:

Proficient in ArchiCAD 27 or later

Fluent in English

Familiarity with Canadian residential standards is a bonus

Able to follow direction and work with standard templates

Clean file management and organized workflows
