OPP garden dinning table

Design of a new opening-price-point garden dinning table. The brief of this project was - initially - to design a table to replace one that had been in the catalogue for over 10 years and has sold more than a million units, the table in case was the Wellington table from Jardin. The briefing morphed a few times over the process and features were added to the table, such as interchangeable legs and metal bars for strength. The final design is a stylish and elegant table that looks modern and appealing. The legs are inspired in the original Wellington legs, but with a modern style. The second set of legs, taken from Alliberts' Dante table, provide a totally different look & feel. This was a very challenging project, not only in terms of design and style, but in terms of engineering and logistics. The different features added varied challenges for packaging, strength and manufacturing. The table now is awaiting for approval and it's ready for manufacturing.
