FEA Analysis

DESIGN DETAILS: For most projects I was required to complete structural calculations in order to determine if the design was capable of withstanding the loads placed on the design. These designs were validated through a combination of hand calculations and FEA analysis. Completion of FEA analysis provided visual assurance to the customer that the specified design met the load requirements and showed the most likely area of failure to highlight areas for inspection. Finally FEA analysis outlined expected deflections to ensure that tolerances between components were maintained reducing binding or shaking during operation.
