Finite Element Analysis of Diesel Engine Piston

This Project Includes the designing of a Turbocharged Diesel Engine Piston in Designing software Solidworks. Finite Element Analysis is then performed on the design which involves two types of Analysis, Steady state Thermal Analysis, and Static Structural Analysis. In this project, we can check out, 1. Temperature Distribution on the piston head and skirt or almost all of the piston. 2. Thermal Stresses can be found out. 3. Deformation in Piston at different areas or points. 4. Fatigue Analysis like safety factor or Life etc.
