This is a challenge for designing an electro-mechanical kiosk within a size of 6ft X 4ft X 7ft within minimum cost. The kiosk needs to have the following attributes: 1. Light-weight (can be ferried by 2 people). 2. Thermal scanning of body temperature. 3. Disposal of face mask and providing new face mask. 4. Fogging of bags being carried by visitors. 5. Sanitizing the bottom of the shoes of the visitor. 6. Fogging of clothes of the visitor. 7. Disposal of gloves worn by visitor on entry & providing new gloves before leaving kiosk. 8. Recording visitor entry/exit. 9. Video recording of activity within the kiosk.
1. Ease of manufacturing design/product elements (sophisticated elements to be avoided)
2. Cost of building the prototype & product of the design (lower the better)
3. Integration of attributes expected
4. Aesthetics of end product
5. Energy usage (lower the better)
6. Time taken for a visitor to undergo the whole process (lower the better)
Don't Wants:
Highly sophisticated automation/instrumentation
High power requirements

Electric scooter for adult air travel
The FAA and other international flight regulators limit the amount of high powered batteries a single person can carry over 100 Wh to (either) three 101-160 Wh single batteries, or one 101-160 Wh, and a 300 Wh spare. There is no limit on batteries rated 100 Wh and below. In all cases the batteries must be removed and stored within the individual's carry-on with the terminal port covered. In relation to electric scooters, a 160 Wh scooter running a 250W motor rated for a 100kg person with no suspension has a rated travel distance of 20km. Not only is it extremely difficult to find an electric scooter with a battery rated below 160Wh, but if you do it is generally not very good quality, and is meant for kids. Most quality light weight commuter style scooters capable of traveling long distances and bearing the weight of an adult hold a capacity of about 600Wh The goal of this project is to design a locking collapsible electric scooter with a load capacity of 150 kg, capable of traveling at least 40km, which has removable 100Wh battery cells. The process of adding and extracting the cells must be simple, and they must be protected from water damage in the event of rain. Ride quality and structural integrity should be a priority, though a weight below 20kg is optimal with the batteries removed, though this is flexible. The motor power should be between 500-800W due to the increased load capacity, with a top speed of 30-40 kmh. Preference on non-inflatable wheels, though this can impact ride quality and maneuverability so suspension and tread selection is key. The body should be long enough to for an adult to comfortably stand. There should be a disk breaking system. The display should be clear and show- Battery percentage remaining, and current speed. There should be a key nessisary to start, and have the ability to be securely chained up to avoid theft.
