Help me finish my dream home

Please help me, 3 yrs ago we built our dream home. The building structure has been complete but the interior is a blank canvas...
I am a starter and usually not a finisher, as you will see from the photos... I am
am stuck on how to transform this house and to give it that wow statement but the same time functional for the family to grow in.
The space that I like to transform is an open plan area on the first floor to our home that leads into the bedrooms of the house and has the following spaces:

1. a open shared study/ work area that doubles up as a study area for the kids to do their projects and homework and for myself to have a home office work station

2. A small TV room area with a side build in cupboard for the extra over flow storage

3. Open blank balcony area

I am looking for a design that brings all these spaces together, one that flows, one that is contemporary, with clean lines and brings the outdoors indoors but caters for my kids to?play, do homework, and allows me to have a station to work at when working from home, caters for storage to hide all the ugly clutter and allows a relaxed TV area for the occassional movie and family time before bed leading into a modern contempaory outdoor space that allows one to enjoy the balcony as a retreat away and as an extension to the home.

I am looking for a design that has a wow appeal and allows me to want to be in the space, it's clutter free, but is cost effective and suitable for a growing family with 3 small kids, aged 11, 7 and 5.
NOTE:, none of the furnituee in the room will be reused.

For this phase of my project I am looking for concepts and ideas with renderings that I can help me visualize and see the design in as close as possible to the real life final view so that I can select the best suitable design.

I like neutral contemporary colours that allows one the flexibility to easily change small decor items in the room as the seasons change.
I love the use of wood elements in Design, especially when Infused in a creative way to provide both functionality and asthetic appeal.
Creativity and use of contemporary and functional design and has the wow factor.
Use of contemporary colour palelete and tones
Overall design appeal
Use of outdoor space
Don't Wants:
Traditional and boring
