It’s that time again! The Cad Crowd 3D model library<\/a> is always filled to the brim with various interesting design and 3D modeling projects from our ever-growing network of global CAD designers. From interior design to machine design to PCBs<\/a>, our designers are forever working on a wide variety of subjects. Let’s take a look at some of the awesome projects recently uploaded to the gallery.<\/p>\n

1. Plastic Machine<\/a>\u00a0CAD Drafting & Design by\u00a0SBN Design<\/h3>\n

It’s a plastic machine, of some description, defined by a variety of turning parts. I can’t pretend to know what such a thing does, exactly, but I can identify detail-oriented 3D modeling when I see it!<\/p>\n

2. Shaving Set<\/a>\u00a03D Modeling Design by Cad Geek<\/h3>\n

For some men, shaving is an annoyance. For others, it’s a ritual. Members of the latter group have various preferences when it comes to soaps, lotions, blade types, and even brush types. All of these critically important items need to have an appropriate resting place when not in use, and that’s where the shaving stand comes in. Sleek, classy, minimalist, and manufacturable.<\/p>\n

3. USB Isolator<\/a>\u00a0Engineering Design by Mart<\/h3>\n

The purpose of this device is to protect electronic devices from static shock and power surges. It also serves to prevent ground loops between a computer and an attached device. The tight and compact design demonstrates what’s possible with modern surface mount technology. Look at those\u00a0teeny tiny capacitors!<\/p>\n

4. Modernist Vanity Table<\/a>\u00a0Furniture Design by\u00a0V.M.Design<\/h3>\n

So I don’t know why, but there’s something especially nice about the towels in this 3D model. Don’t get me wrong the modernist wood and metal combination and those pleasing angles are splendid. But those towels just really tie the whole thing together. Some things just can’t be explained.<\/p>\n

5. Plywood PC Table<\/a>\u00a0Product Design by\u00a0ansilmi<\/h3>\n

Lots of us spend a pretty real amount of time in front of computers. Our desks are an important part of our environment. That means we want them both to look good and to feel good. This clever plywood construction has plenty of desk space, a convenient dock for the tower, speaker platforms, and a little hook to hang your headphones from. Great for gaming, writing, studying, or designing furniture with CAD!<\/p>\n

6. Dining Room Table Set<\/a>\u00a0Furniture Design by\u00a0Nathan M<\/h3>\n

I love the thick legs on this table. Cozy and rustic, it looks like it would be right at home in a comfy country cottage from days gone by or today. The background chosen for this image is a bit odd, but I guess that’s not exactly the point. Simple but elegant!<\/p>\n

7. Cozy Apartment<\/a>\u00a0Interior Design by\u00a0Yash Naik<\/h3>\n
