With so many different designers from all over the world active on Cad Crowd, we’ve always got a fantastic diversity of projects being uploaded to the 3D model library.<\/a> From toys to jewelry to architecture, every field of design is represented! This week, we’ve got quite an eclectic mix of highlights to share, so let’s get on with it.<\/p>\n

1. v8 Engine Engineering Design by MICHAEL DIMOU<\/h3>\n

There’s something about a great rendering that makes even mundane objects seem like works of art. Not that a v8 engine isn’t a thing of beauty in itself, of course \u2014 I’m just speaking in generalities. But however you feel about internal combustion, this 3D modeling<\/a> work by Michael Dimou is pretty awesome. Shiney and efficient looking.<\/p>\n

2. Remote Controlled Helium Balloon<\/a> 3D Modeling Design by REDA<\/h3>\n

REDA sees your drones, and he raises you one remote-controlled helium balloon! A wonderfully stupid idea, represented perfectly by the cute little wrong pillow..cloud… person… thing. If this is wrong, then I don’t want to be right, I say.<\/p>\n

3. Albert Einstein Ring<\/a> Jewelry Design by John Paulo<\/h3>\n

Speaking of wonderfully stupid things, how about the world’s most famous person making the world’s most recognized dumb face, the jewelry edition? Not just for dorm room walls, now you can have Einstein relatively silly face decorating your fingers as you use them to count all the new friends your awesome jewelry has earned you. Or, if that fails, you can tell people it’s Gene Simmons.<\/p>\n

4. Hermetically Sealed Breast Platform<\/a> Engineering Design by\u00a0Raphael Smith<\/h3>\n

On a more serious note, here’s a complex device that simultaneously performs x-rays and ultrasounds of breasts. We said there’s be a range of design examples, and this is a great example of the medical device design<\/a> that some out the members of Cad Crowd excel in.<\/p>\n

5. Plaza Improvement<\/a> Architectural Design by Sergui.Nasta<\/h3>\n

Finally, we have this beautiful piece that combines architectural design with great 3D modeling and rendering for a beautiful reimagining of a public plaza. It’s an impressive rendering of an impressive building. With a couple of cannons thrown in for good measure, it feels safe and secure.<\/p>\n
