Regardless of talent, active designers will occasionally receive a low star rating<\/strong> or have an entry declined<\/strong> by a client.<\/p>

Declined entries<\/h2>

Usually, clients can’t leave feedback for each design entry they receive for their contest.<\/p>

We suggest that clients decline<\/strong> the designs they won’t use and add a star rating and comments to the designs they are interested in.<\/p>

If your design entry is declined, it’s often just a reflection of a client’s personal preferences and not your skill as a designer\/engineer.<\/p>

Note: If your design is declined, you can submit a new or revised design entry to the client’s contest. You may want to send the client a message<\/strong><\/a> to ensure you’re on the right track.<\/em><\/p>

Low star rating entries<\/h2>

Like declined entries – a low star rating<\/strong> is simply a subjective reflection of how much the client likes your design and is not a reflection of your design talent.<\/p>

The low star rating means that your design entry doesn’t exactly match what the customer is looking for. You can send a message to the client<\/strong><\/a>, which can save a lot of time if you’re considering submitting another design entry.<\/p>
