Recommendations help you share your outstanding work accomplishments beyond Cad Crowd and can be displayed directly on your expert profile.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#0000008a\"><strong>\ud83d\ude80 In this article <\/strong><\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Request a client recommendation<\/h2> <p>Use the following steps to ask a past client or employer for a profile recommendation: <\/p> <ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/user\/settings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Account settings<\/a><\/strong> &gt; select <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/user\/settings\/profile\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Your profile<\/a><\/strong><\/li> <li>Scroll down the page to <strong>Request a recommendation<\/strong><\/li> <li>Click <strong>+ Send invite request<\/strong> button<\/li> <li> Add a <strong>client&#8217;s email<\/strong> &gt; click <strong>Send<\/strong> button (or copy + share your Recommendation link)<\/li>\n<\/ol> <p>After you send the invite request, we&#8217;ll email your client with a link to leave a recommendation on your public profile.<\/p> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rules for profile recommendations<\/h2> <p>See the following rules for client recommendations:<\/p> <ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Types for reviews:<\/strong> You may contact your past clients for recommendations, including Cad Crowd members, clients, and employers.<\/li> <li><strong>Recommendation rules:<\/strong> Each client may share one recommendation on your profile. Multiple recommendations by the same client are not permitted, regardless of how many projects you&#8217;ve completed for the client.<\/li> <li><strong>Email invites:<\/strong> You can only send one email to each client through our platform. If a client did not see the recommendation email invite, you could manually copy and share your recommendation link manually with a client.<\/li> <li><strong>LinkedIn:<\/strong> We may ask you to share your client&#8217;s LinkedIn URL if your profile isn&#8217;t established on the Cad Crowd platform.<\/li> <li><strong>Review period:<\/strong> Our support team needs time to review and manually authenticate most client recommendations. Sometimes, a review may take 1-2 business days to approve and share on your public profile.<\/li> <li><strong>Recommendation limits:<\/strong> You may share up to 50 client recommendations on your expert profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Questions and answers<\/h2> <p><strong>\u26a1 Why did the Cad Crowd support team reject my client&#8217;s recommendation?<\/strong><\/p> <p>We maintain trust and high standards on the Cad Crowd platform and only allow client recommendations that we can authenticate. In this instance, you may have shared incomplete client information, and the testimonial was rejected. Consider seeking a testimonial from a different client instead.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p><strong>\u26a1 Can I still request a recommendation from a client without a LinkedIn profile? <\/strong><\/p> <p>You may request a recommendation if a client has a business email address. If the client uses an email address, we may ask the client for a phone call before the recommendation is posted to your public profile.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p><strong>\u26a1 Do recommendations help me get a Top expert badge?<\/strong><\/p> <p>The recommendations are not counted as successful job contracts and do not count towards the Top expert badge on the platform. Recommendations will help boost your profile completion score and visibility in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/profiles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">freelancer search<\/a><\/strong> algorithm.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p><strong>\u26a1 How do you authenticate my client profile recommendations?<\/strong><\/p> <p>We reach out to your past clients to verify the authenticity of your profile recommendations.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p><strong>\u26a1 Is there a limit to the number of recommendations past clients can post on my profile? <\/strong><\/p> <p>Each client can only share one recommendation on your public user profile. Your profile allows a maximum of 50 recommendations from different clients.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p><strong>\u26a1 Can I remove a client&#8217;s recommendation from my public profile?<\/strong><\/p> <p>Please contact <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"our support team\">our support team<\/a><\/strong> to delete a recommendation on your profile.<\/p> <p><strong>Note:<\/strong> You can only delete recommendations and not reviews from work completed on the platform.<\/p> <hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/> <p><strong>\u26a1 Can I edit a client recommendation if the information is inaccurate or the text is misspelled?<\/strong><\/p> <p>You can&#8217;t manually change a client recommendation. Recommendations differ from <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">reviews<\/span><\/strong> and do not impact your star ranking or <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Top expert<\/span><\/strong> status.
