When you post your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/help\/buyers\/what-is-a-design-contest\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>design contest<\/strong><\/a> or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/help\/buyers\/what-is-a-1-to-1-projects-and-how-do-they-work\/\" rel=\"noopener\">1-to-1 project<\/a>, all participating designers have agreed to our NDA\/IP requirements in our legal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/page\/termsofservice\" rel=\"noopener\">terms of service<\/a>.<\/p> <p>Please see the following for more information:<\/p> <ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>IP ownership (designers)<\/b>: Whenever a designer submits work to a paid project on Cad Crowd, the designer agrees to waive all of their IP ownership for the submitted design.<\/li> <li><b>Non-disclosure\u00a0(contests\/1-to-1\u00a0projects)<\/b>: When a designer joins the community, they agree to the non-disclosure clause in\u00a0our terms of service. In other words, they aren&#8217;t allowed to discuss your project without your permission.<\/li> <li><strong>Contests privacy:<\/strong> You can choose the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/help\/buyers\/can-i-decide-who-can-see-my-contest-privacy-settings\/\" rel=\"noopener\">privacy settings<\/a> for design\u00a0contests hosted on the platform (i.e., publicly visible, visible to registered users, or visible by invite-only).<\/li> <li><b>IP ownership (contests)<\/b>: The IP ownership for paid design entries are automatically assigned to the client. If you&#8217;re running a contest and want to own the IP for several different designs, add additional\u00a0awards to gain ownership.<\/li> <li><strong>IP assignment (1-to-1 projects):<\/strong> The IP ownership\u00a0for design work is automatically assigned to the client when a designer is compensated for their work.
