Please <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/help\/buyers\/escrow-refunds\/\" title=\"\">read this<\/a><\/strong> article since the refund steps differ when requesting a refund on escrow payments.<\/li> <li><strong>Hourly contracts:<\/strong> You can <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/help\/buyers\/hourly-refunds\/\" title=\"\">submit a dispute<\/a><\/strong> if you are unhappy with the results of an hourly job contract.<\/li> <li><strong>Closing a job:<\/strong> Remember to talk with your expert about a refund on billable hours before ending your hourly contract. If the 14-day deadline passes, you won&#8217;t be able to post a review on the expert&#8217;s public profile.<\/p> <p>Your expert can allow you to edit your review if you have already posted one and wish to modify the review after.<\/p> <p>If you don&#8217;t ask for a refund request, your expert can approve a refund for a contract&#8217;s total amount, partial amount, or no amount. In addition, the expert can issue a refund for both open or closed job contracts, assuming the following criteria are met:<\/p> <ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>End date:<\/strong> The expert approves a refund before the 180-day window has ended <\/li> <li><strong>Amount:<\/strong> Experts cannot give a refund for an amount that exceeds the total value of a contract<\/li>\n<\/ul> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expert approves refund<\/h2> <p>When an expert approves a refund, the system automatically returns the funds to your account balance.<\/p> <p>What happens when a refund is approved:<\/p> <ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Refund timeline:<\/strong> The refund is returned to your payment method within 3-5 business days.<\/li> <li><strong>Status:<\/strong> Go to your <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/user\/transactions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Transaction history<\/a><\/strong> to see an update on the status of your refund request.<\/li> <li><strong>Review:<\/strong> Your review and the expert&#8217;s review are hidden if the total contract value is under $25.00 USD (after the refund is applied).<\/li>\n<\/ul> <p class=\"has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background\">\ud83d\udce1 <strong>Tip: You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/user\/payout\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">request a withdrawal<\/a> if you want to transfer the funds from your account balance to your payment method.<\/strong><\/p> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expert declines refund<\/h2> <p>You have several options if the expert declines your request for the job contract.<\/p> <p>Hourly job contracts:<\/p> <ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Escalate issue:<\/strong> You can escalate your refund request to our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadcrowd.com\/contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">support team<\/a><\/strong> if the expert rejects a refund on an hourly contract.<\/li> <li><strong>Dispute deadline:<\/strong> You have a <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">5-day deadline<\/span><\/strong> to file a dispute for an hourly job contract after your weekly billing period ends.
