Morgan: That would be acceptable.

In order to maintain the same aspect ratio, the dimensions would become approximately 25mm wide by 60 mm long, would this be acceptable?

Albertus Putra: If you made the wings bigger, would the drawing and the crossing of the frame be avoided?

Zyrone Levanthino: I will need almost all of the details to be visible.

hi sir, because there is too much detail within the design. Like the human figure and other things. If its of without it it will be fine.

There is a problem if you want to make a separate parts (wings and drawings), the drawing sometimes cross the wing frame (cross in & out). So, the drawings are not really inside the wing frame.
What is your advice for this problem?

This is the first time commissioning a project. Plus, I still need to pay for the actual production of the jewellery which will cost more money.

Creating what you want seem really exciting but the price seems to low for the projects.

Thank you for the info. I know now how it works.

The drawings should be a part of the 3D representation, so either have the drawings a different thickness. Or have the background of the drawings one piece of the wing, and the then the drawings can be overlaid ontop of the background as another separate piece. I would prefer it the second way, that way, the back piece (the not drawings) can be made of silver, and the front piece (the drawings) can be made of gold.

That is (all in all) 4 pieces, 2 pieces form one wing and another 2 pieces form the other wing.

I am also not sure what Zyrone Levantino is talking about, I am unfamiliar with that terminology, but I hope this link from Shapeways can be of help:

Yes, just like that loop, but I can't see it on the design you submitted. Plus the picture that you submitted, it doesn't have a loop.

Hi,
I think the loop is like this:

Is it correct?

The loop is so that a necklace can go through it. Her neck doesn't go through the loop.
Mon, 27 Oct 2014 09:55:10 +0000
can you measure the diameter of her neck? so we can know the dimension for the loop

Yea, the missus loves Coldplay and I can't find wings like it as jewellery. A one of a kind would make her so happy. Yes, as detailed as possible to create, so as when it becomes 3D printed, you can see the details. It's up to you if you want to make it one piece for each wing, or make it as two pieces (where one would be the wing around the specific details, and the other piece would fit into the grooves of the first piece showing the details, and have both pieces made of different metals)

Brick of Money
The goal of this project is to design a desk ornament that is a conversation piece. https://goo.gl/wc3ueb There are 3 aspects to this product: 1: The foundation: A rectangle of solid metal. Should have an expensive high end look. A bar of silver is the only thing I can think of as an example foundation. https://goo.gl/wMySnL However, I am going for more of a brushed nickel look. 2: The casing that sits on top of the medal foundation. This casing is either made of glass or plastic and will be glued to the medal foundation. 3. $500 in one dollar bills will be inside the glass casing. The attached image is not high end looking but should give you a basic idea of the kind of product we are looking to develop.
Cat Earred Headphones
We want a set of headphones designed that have cute cat ears designed on the top of the headphones. The mockup that we will include uses Beats Solo HD headphones as the template. This an easy way for us to portray the aim of the project, as we want the final outcome to look sleek and simple, but not exactly like Beats. We want a redesigned set of headphones that has fashionable cat ears on top suitable for young 20 year old females. Make 2D mock ups to give us an idea of what you have designed, then also to make up plans that can be sent to manufactures for immediate production, preferably in a cad format that can be used to 3D print the shell. Color, style, aesthetics are all up to designer, but general preferred color themes will be for white to pair with pink, and baby blue to pair with very light red.
The first drink sling ever made - Freelance 3D modeler, CAD designer
designing a drink that goes on your wrist wanting a sleeve or sling that can fit a juice pouch simmilar to capri sun you can design the pouch any way long as easy to fit in sling or sleeve and remove has a drink spout for the straw wich is lijke a water bottle top but better drink pouch 6.25 ounces or smaller
The gentlemans shaver
We need a design for a shaver handle. The design should have an exclusive look to it, not "spacey" as many established brands are. Keywords for the design could be "gentleman, scandinavian, hipster, modern man, elegant, James Bond, simple" and such. What we need is a design made in CAD, and ultimately files ready for production, our current setup requires .dwg or .dwt files. But we would like to see an realistic 3d render of the handle. There are though some specifications for the connection between the handle and the razor blades that should be met. Since the connection is an standard set of from our razor-blade production partner. In the attached files there are an example of an handle and the lock mechanism, so the way the blades are connected and the sliding lock works should be thought into the design. It's for the scandinavian market, so the design should fit in there, and should ofcourse have a good grib, size and weight to it. We have a target weight of minimum 50-60gr to the handle.
